Background

CeMEDIa used to be the Eastern-European representative of film financing consultant network Peacefulfish (we even put together & moderated a panel a few years ago for their Cannes workshop). We also dealt with Zentropa, the Danish company behind Lars von Trier, Thomas Vinterberg and other great directors and producers - we advised/consulted them regards filmmaking in Hungary.

Producers associated with CeMEDIa are also frequent visitors of coproduction forums throughout Europe, and maintaining contacts with producers who are interested in international coproductions.

Therefore we are able to provide a mixture of financial expertise with a living network of connections needed to find the right producers for your project.


What we offer

We simply offer to package your project and find the producers willing to raise funds for it. Usually our work is limited to brainstorming, planning, networking and pitching, and putting together the pieces of the big picture, but can do the executive part as well.

We can even go together with your director and do the pitching if necessary - that's part of the game. Pitching is a way of communicating with fellow producers, and if it's done the right way it's very effective.

But you might be satisfied with something less - like developing a financing strategy for your project and give you & your director a pitch training - everything depends on you, the project and the director.

Our pricing is flexible, depending on your movie's stage of development, your intentions and needs.
